Being under conversion for a long time, the psychiatry clinic's conversion costs were paid in full by Fuat Bursalı, one of the Bursa businessmen. Thus, the clinic was reopened, now as a clinic with rooms for any types of therapy, a capacity of 25 beds, and camera systems.

At the opening, Prof Dr Selçuk Kırlı, head of the Psychiatry Department, explained as follows: "Today we made opening our psychiatry department after the conversion works’ completion. After the conversion works sponsored by Mr. Fuat Bursalı, our clinic now disposes of 25 beds. Since our clinic has been rendering services to the Bursa people for many years, and since its features, therefore, are known by many of them, it now is the most modern psychiatry clinic in Turkey. There are cameras installed in all rooms, there is a central music system, and there are rooms for occupational therapy and group therapy. Furthermore, its gym allows all psychiatric patients to find what they are looking for. This place now has achieved the level of an international standard psychiatric clinic.

In his speech, businessman Fuat Bursalı, however, pointed out as follows: "One day when I went to see my dear professor, we paid a visit to this psychiatric clinic. The clinic's condition was not that good, and not pleasant. And Selçuk Kırlı told me that to do something for this clinic would be becoming to me, whereupon we adopted his words as a duty. As a beneficent businessman, we here initiated a good restructuring. During construction, I came here and checked, and I saw very good work. After the today’s opening, I see that it has become an outstandingly favourable clinic. First, I would like to thank Prof Dr Selçuk Kırlı, head of the Psychiatry Department, and his team for availing us of this opportunity.
