The basic aim of lean thinking is transport to the generated value as fast and as efficiently as possible to the final consumer, starting from the raw material used first, and without any interruption during the whole value-generation process. The lean approach is a management method that aims at eliminating the waste from all value chains, and at performing all activities in such a way as to generate value for both customers and stakeholders.

The lean method basically questions the necessity of all process steps (production or administrative processes), and primarily works on the elimination of those processes that do not add value, on their improvement, or their combination, respectively.

Adapting the tools used within lean production philosophy with the Bursalı Production System, to our own production processes, we aim at making them reach zero fault processes, by means of acting within the frame of an understanding that directly adds value to all products developed by us, and in a way where a series of these values is mixed with the principle of excellence, while showing approaches that aim at eliminating the waste within the value chain.

With this aim, we are in the process of establishing our own production system, by means of continuing our activity started in 2015 with full force, and with our senior management’s full support. The primary aim of the Bursalı Production System activity is to try to interiorise the concepts communication, sharing, team working, team spirit, common mind, and value generation with all employees, and, by this means, to make this process a lasting one, by following-up the development also with the unit-specific performance indicators, and at the same time, by spreading this management approach in such a way as to include all employees, applying the existing aims.

Bursalı which has adopted the continuous improvement culture in both its production and management activities, is complying with all requirements of being a global player within its sector, by means of pursuing the target of sustainable success, on the one hand, while it is continuing its activities with firm determination, on the other hand, also in the development of always new production models.
